About the event
The festival runs from 26 to 28 October at the multipurpose grounds in Moo 1, Ban Koh Sirey, at Wat Ban Koh Sirey. On 27 October there is the Tak Bat Devo alms-giving at the temple from 6:00 to 7:00, the boat procession around Phuket town leaves the temple from 8:30, and the blessing ceremony for the boat is held from 19:00.

From the editors
Wat Ban Koh Sirey is the temple on Koh Sirey island; the festival takes place on the grounds beside it. Rassada Subdistrict Municipality is the local government body of the subdistrict, running community and welfare programmes. Tak Bat Devo is an alms-giving to monks marking the Buddha's descent from the heavens, part of the Lak Phra celebrations.
