About the event
The annual Loy Krathong celebration invites visitors to float a krathong and wear Thai dress or clothing made from Thai fabrics. The programme also includes music, performances and a Miss Noppamas contest.

Phuket Mining Museum is a cultural museum in Kathu documenting the island’s tin-mining history. Kathu Municipality is a local government body that organises community events and cultural celebrations. Loy Krathong is a Thai festival on the full moon of the twelfth lunar month, marked by floating decorated krathongs.
