About the event
The evening programme is a celebration ceremony for the Royal Kathin at Wat Mongkhon Nimit’s preaching hall. Attendees are asked to wear polite black or white clothing or Thai dress, with a black ribbon or bow on the left chest.

Wat Mongkhon Nimit is a royal Buddhist temple in Phuket Town, historically known as Wat Klang. Phuket City Municipality is the local government body for Phuket Town and supports local cultural initiatives. Kathin Festival is an annual Buddhist tradition of offering new robes to monks after the rainy-season retreat.
