About the event
Wat Pa Yuan Phueng will host an annual Kathina ceremony. In this tradition, the community offers new robes and donations to monks after Buddhist Lent.

Wat Pa Yuan Phueng is a Buddhist temple in the hills of Karon, with a pagoda on its grounds. Karon Municipality is the local government body for the Kata and Karon areas. Kathina Festival is a traditional Buddhist observance and an annual offering of robes and other gifts to the monastic community.
