Laguna Phuket Triathlon — Race of Legends

The 32nd Laguna triathlon, known as the Race of Legends, is the oldest in Southeast Asia and has run since 1994. More than a thousand athletes from around the world are expected, plus about 3,000 supporters and spectators. The main race is the classic distance: a 1.8 km swim split between the Andaman Sea and a fresh-water lagoon, a 50 km bike ride on northern Phuket roads with hilly stretches near Naithon, and a 12 km run through the Laguna Phuket resort grounds. There are individual categories for pros and amateurs, a team relay, and a sprint for less experienced entrants: 500 m swim, 20 km bike, 6 km run.
