About the event
TEA-CONNECTING is an outdoor tea gathering that opens with an introduction to Chinese tea traditions, from gaiwans and gundaobeis to the differences between tea varieties. Over a cup, guests can meet, chat and tell others about themselves or their work. The selection ranges from white Shou Mei and Bai Hao Yin Zhen to green Longjing and Maojian, red Jin Jun Mei and Dian Hong, Sheng and Shu pu-erh, black Anhua and Liu Bao, plus light and dark oolongs; tea samples are available to buy, and advance orders can be brought along. Families with children are welcome.
