Evening Ride from McDonald's

A night ride across western Phuket takes the group along two lesser-known roads, the Patong–Kathu serpentine, Karon and a final stop at a helicopter pad. There, engines and headlights go off: no torches or phones while everyone adjusts to the dark. The ride starts with a burger and a chat at McDonald's Central Phuket, keeps a relaxed pace and suits anything from a 300cc scooter to a litre bike; riders regroup at every stop.
